With a cabin for five (though I’ll bet it’s like the front seat of a Cadillac in terms of comfort for the fifth wheel on this double date mobile) they claim it’s the fasted personal jet available (0.82 the speed of sound). But what really sold it for me is the optional “Full Airplane Parachute” (Optional? Who the hell’s going to say, “Aww, pass. I don’t like those gimmicky extras.”) As a real bonus this has really nice lines with engine intakes that remind me of the Navy’s F-18 Hornet (I remember the days of mono y mono flight sim battles...).
It’s a little pricey at $1.25 million but that’s less than half the cost of the last jet I profiled. Looks like they have a couple of other models to choose from and some of them are even below the million mark. (I kind of like the SeaJET in the middle. Fits the multipurpose James Bond theme...)
